Steam distilled allspice berry essential oil from Jamaica.  Allspice is also know as Jamaican pepper, myrtle pepper, and pimenta berry.

Species:  Pimenta dioica (L.) Merr.  Family:  Myrtacea.  Class:  Phenolic ether.  CAS 8006-77-7.

Aeracuras' allspice essential oil has a sweet, spicy, fruity aroma.  Allspice essential oil aroma should have a fresh, clean top note and sweet middle notes.  Allspice berry essential oil aroma is fruitier than the leaf essential oil.  Allspice was named as such because it is similar to a mixture of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg.

Aromatherapy uses include relieving aching joints and muscles. Allspice essential oil is a warming oil which is said to improve circulation and digestion, helps reduce cellulite, calms the nerves and promotes sleep. Allspice essential oil blends well with ginger, geranium, lavender, orange, patchouli and ylang ylang.
